Is there a way to swap DICOM fields

Basically we need to have 3 field completed by the image specialist:
- Accesion Number
- Refering Physician
- Image Comment

It seams these fields are not available on the facility capture screen, then they can't fill them.
I am thincking if there is a way of filling others fields (not used, then blanck) and after program a mapping routine or something like this.

I know that's a little weird.. but I do not have more ideas.

Hi Hilario,

I'm afraid I don't understand what you're asking. OnePacs indexes all of the fields you list from the DICOM header so they should be available to you in OnePacs. Can you be more specific about what your intent is?

On the Facility I can not access the Accesion Number.
As the accesion number is used later on by the hospital system to link the study to the history we need to introduce MANUALLY the accesion number in some part.

Option 1:
The technitian type the accesion number in another field (comment for example) and some system load the field Accesion Number with this value typed in the comment field.

Option 2:
Some One can access Accesion Number on the OnePacs and introduce the correct N. for this study.

Does it clarify my problem?

Good idea Jeremy.
What do I have to do to avoid the study is sent by the gateway to OnePacs before we modify the accession Number manually?
I understand I have to do something because if not, the study will be sent inmediately with the dummy number.

When the study is updated on the gateway the changes are sent to the OnePacs central server. Thus, the study may be sent before the changes are complete and then the study is later updated to reflect the new accession number.
