Windows Vista

Post by jsecoges » Fri Mar 20, 2009 9:34 am

Is there a version of the desktop application which will work with Windows Vista??? An error message indicates to me that 4.0.5 will not install on Vista.

Thank you,
Joe

Joe,

Windows Vista is a supported operating system for OnePacs Workstation. What sort of error message are you getting? Also, could you try to install the latest version (4.0.7)?

Thanks,

Justin

Could be a problem with 64-bit Vista. I couldn't install on 64-bit Windows 7 either, and had to install on XP running in Virtual PC.

Joe,

We don't currently support Windows 7. It may work but it hasn't been certified yet. Only 32 bit XP and Vista are supported at this point. 64-bit Vista does not work.

Doesn't Windows 7 have a "compatibility mode" option for running 32 bit applications?

Thanks,

Justin
