Derived images instead original

Derived images instead original

We have been checking with our facilities why some CT cases are arriving at OnePacs in the Group0008 element0008 as DERIVED\..... instead than ORIGINAL. At this moment nobody has an answer. Is there somebody that can answer this question?

I would assume this is due to image compression which is performed to speed up transmission and lower storage costs.
