Java Viewer Upgrade

Post by onepacs » Thu Sep 07, 2017 10:22 am

OnePacs is pleased to announce an upgrade of the Java web viewer to RemotEye version 9.2!

Notable improvements include:
  • New measurement tool, able to measure horizontal and vertical distances (offsets) between two arbitrary points.
  • New measurement tool, able to measure CTR (Cardio-Thoracic Ratio).
  • New "Measure distances and angles" tool, able to measure angles among an arbitrary number of segments.
  • Within a hanging protocol, a hanging view now allows specifying/forcing the desired image orientation for each image panel.
  • Added support for thick slab mode even on original volumetric (e.g. CT, MR, Breast Tomo, etc.) series, with configurable slab thickness and projection mode (MIP, MinIP, AvgIP).
  • Hanging protocols now support regular expressions, both on general matching parameters, and on panel-specific matching rules within each hanging view.
  • Hanging protocols now support the "Manufacturer" attribute as a general matching parameter.
  • The viewer now supports configurable policies for splitting images into viewing series. In particular, it is able to split viewing series according to the "Image Type", "TE / TR", "Temporal Position Identifier" and the "Diffusion B-value" data elements.
  • Thumbnails of series have been improved, and now use the mid slice of a series as the source image, instead of the first slice.
  • Thumbnails panel now provides a visual indication of the series which are currently being displayed on the main panel, as well as of the currently-selected series.
This update will go live on 9/11/2017. Your viewer will automatically upgrade to the new version on-demand. A new version of the CD burning software accompanies this release. Upgrading the CD burning software is optional.

The most recent Java 8 runtime environment is recommended.
